A native of Chattanooga, LaToya graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with an emphasis in Health Sciences. Before joining A Step Ahead Chattanooga, she worked for many years in the nonprofit world as a liaison for an End-of-Life organization and as a grant specialist at a rehabilitation center.

LaToya enjoys traveling with her husband and twins, going to places like Canada, Jamaica, and Hawaii. They also like to attend off broadway musicals and live concerts. In her downtime, she enjoys binge-watching her favorite TV shows and reading autobiographies.
