Ailin brings over 20 years of Nursing experience, she is originally from Argentina and has lived in the Chattanooga area for the last 10 years. She earned her Bachelor’s in Nursing at the University of Puerto Rico and has worked as a Registered Nurse for 20+ years which includes providing patient direct care in medical and psychiatric hospitals, nursing homes, and home health. For the last ten years, she has been in Management roles, with her background as Director of Risk Management and Quality Assurance in Chattanooga and multiple roles as the Director of Nursing in healthcare facilities in Kentucky and Arkansas.
She loves to help her Hispanic community any time she gets a chance, and joining ASAC has been a dream come true. She is also a certified medical translator, and with the gift of being bilingual, she can do her best work helping those in need as a translator and answering the Spanish/English appointment phone line.
When not at work, Ailin makes pottery, does gardening, foraging, camping, and rafting, and loves traveling the world with her family. She has lived in Argentina, Chile, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico.
