Our mission is to remove barriers to contraception. When the barriers change, we must respond as an organization so we can continue to achieve our mission. As we face a substantial increase in demand for our clinical services, together with a decrease in funding for our educational and outreach activities, ASAC will be restructuring our organization and reducing our staff size to allocate as many human and financial resources to the thing we do best and the thing we’ve been doing since day one – providing access to free birth control. We will continue to provide high-quality education and conduct outreach activities in a more streamlined and strategic way. We are confident that the changes we will make in the coming months will allow us to effectively serve those who need help accessing birth control. As the landscape continues to change, we will continue to keep you informed. 

While this update is meant to be informative, we wouldn’t turn down your financial assistance at this very challenging time. From our inception, we have never had to create a waiting list for services. Please help us keep it that way!
