Robyn has a degree in Sociology from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, and is a strong advocate for the people of the Appalachian region as well as all underserved communities. She comes to A Step Ahead from the government sector where she served six counties to assist in outreach for the 2020 Census. She brings a passion for and experience with her local communities. Robyn will be helping A Step Ahead Chattanooga expand services and resources in Polk and Bradley counties.

Robyn grew up in the heart of Polk County on her family’s ancestral land. As a mother of three, she revels in watching her children’s individualism take shape as they grow. As a lover of the obscure and absurd, she enjoys exploring the world with her husband and stumbling across oddities in plain sight.
